We've got all the equipment and expertise to ensure that your fishing adventure is a memorable one; all you need to do is relax and enjoy the fishing. Our boat carries a complete assortment of rods, tackle, and bait onboard, and your host is onboard to guide you to all the best fishing sites and offer helpful advice.

Chemainus is a year-round destination for fishing enthusiasts. May and June are the best months for fishing big Chinook, while July, August, September, and October are the best times for drift fishing in shallower waters for Coho, Chinook, and Spring Salmon. Winter and early spring are best for deep-water fishing with downriggers.

Gulf Islands Explorers can even help you process your catch: we can arrange to have your fish smoked, and canned or vacuum-packed to your specifications.

Fishing charters start at $375.00 Can. + GST for 4 hours of fishing for 4 persons ($93.75 per person.) Special rates are available for larger and smaller groups, please call ahead for details. Fishing licences are available onboard at additional cost and are priced in Canadian funds as follows:
